“The day when we had to woke up at 5 a.m for Masada sunrise was the most amazing experience I had. Thank you!”

Masada! It’s breathtaking views and imposing appearance mirror the epic history that still permeates the dry Masada air. Masada is one of the places you’ll experience w/ Ezra World – it is a powerful experience for anyone – but is particularly moving because it is a part of your own historical inheritance.

Masada is an ancient fortress on the Eastern end of the Judean Desert overlooking the Dead Sea. Originally built by Herod the Great, according to Josephus it was later overtaken by Jewish rebels and was the last stand-off between the Roman forces and the Jewish resistance – eventually ending in the mass suicide of the 960 Jewish rebels hiding there.

Masada is one of the places you’ll go on an Ezra World: Birthright Israel trip that cannot be described in words – it’s one of those truly life changing moments that you’ll have to experience yourself to understand. Moments like this make an Ezra World: Birthright Israel trip so special! With Ezra, your Birthright Israel Trip is not just free, it’s priceless!
